MICHAEL DAVID ADAMS
CURRENT EXHIBIT - HEAVY LIKE RAIN
CLOSING PARTY THURSDAY, APRIL 29 (7-10PM)
Michael David Adams is a photographer with the soul of a painter. His work is sought out by collectors from around the globe.
Starting with oils at age 12, Michael worked his way to acrylics and multi-media pieces, all the while exploring and nurturing a love for photography. Eventually photography took center stage as the medium that would take hold both creatively and professionally.
Having always had a great love and deep respect for water, Michael explores this element in all of its forms. It is a recurring theme throughout much of his work. From the calming and time-stretching affects of a seaside visit, to the allure of the vast world beneath the surface, water demands respect. It can assume the shape of its surroundings and continue to travel simultaneously. Water can create the gift of speechless beauty and at the same time support and give power to life, as well as exerting the power to destroy it. We are in a constant quest to live in balance with this force of nature.
Michael’s art achieves a natural state of timelessness. Whether using photography as a documentary art form or by physically creating a scene with the human body to tell a story visually, Michael strives to create photographs that elicit lasting emotions. His goal is to capture the soul of his audience and transmit the incredible experience he is privileged to live while creating these images.
